Hey friends! My name is Kayla June Smith. Jesus is my first love, Ryan is my second. Together, Ryan and I have three sweet little boys (seven year old Landon, four year old Abel, and two year old Silas), and a fluffy golden doodle. I have a passion for dark chocolate, matcha lattes, rainy days, fuzzy blankets, and deep friendships. 

In January 2016 I married Ryan - my best friend and the love of my life. I'm pretty crazy about him: his curly hair, bright blue eyes, and his huge heart for Christ. He's a coffee connoissuer, makes the best chocolate cake, loves baseball, disc golf, his guitar, and his family. God has put it on Ryan's heart to teach people about Himself, and He's truly incredible at it. He is so knowledgable, and so gifted, and I am in awe of him every day. I am so excited to be by his side for every step of this journey.

Ryan and I met in grade six, but it was ten years ago that the story of us began.

 

I promised myself that I would write everything down to share with our friends as we learn, and hopefully we can share these things with our boys one day too. Neither of us is anywhere close to perfect, but with God's grace we are striving to build a covenant marriage, reflective of His love for us.

I used to write at kaylajunepeel.blogspot.com, and that is where you can read a lot about my experiences in highschool and university and growing up with a sister on the autism spectrum. I started that blog one night out of a stirring in my heart, and it turned into a much more meaningful ministry than I could have ever imagined. I wanted to start fresh with this blog, though; writing a new chapter in the book God has outlined for me.

Life as Ryan's wife is an adventure, both exciting and challenging, and I want to share it all with you. I hope you will tag along for the ride ♡
